Overview

Here at Mango we are seeking a passionate, customer-focused self-starter to become a key member of our Sales team and make an immediate impact towards the long-term success of our company.

 

Mango work with major customers across the world and we are looking for a Sales Exec to develop and lead sales of Mango owned and third-party product offerings.

 

The Sales Executive will be accountable for the full sales journey, from lead development, nurture, close and Account Management, working alongside the Account Management, Customer Success and Marketing team. This role has strong potential for growth, responsibility, and over-achievement. We are looking for candidates who enjoy a high paced environment, with multi-role responsibilities and bring enthusiasm to their job. This is a strategic role working with our key customers, our internal sales and marketing team and other departments and has central importance to our ongoing success as a company.

 

What you’ll do

Your primary goal will be to generate sales and business, develops relationships with new clients, make sales visits and presentations to secure new and maintain existing clients, maintain advanced knowledge of products and services, and meet sales/ revenue goals. The role will include:

 

  • Design and develop a Sales Desk alongside the Sales & Marketing Director (how to sell the specific products and what supporting material, processes, documents etc. are required)
  • Develop and expand a portfolio of clients through networking and marketing and develop trusted relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities
  • Assess client needs relating to Mango’s product offering and makes recommendations, including products and service packages
  • Prepare sales visits and presentations to pitch product, service, and combination packages to clients
  • Demonstrate products to highlight product benefits
  • Negotiate sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
  • Work with legal team to ensure contractual coverage is maintained
  • Provide technical advice after sales
  • Establish sales/ revenue goals alongside the Sales Director, implement a plan to meet those goals
  • Tracks progress toward goals and documents sales performance
  • Becomes fluent in the required products and associated services offered by Mango Solutions through testing, demonstrations, and research
  • Answers questions, describe benefits, and discuss pros and cons of various competing products or services
  • Gain familiarity with the Data Science industry, and stay updated on trends, innovations and products
  • Works alongside the product team and Marketing to support the creation of marketing literature and web-based features to promote products
  • Attend trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about the industry and products

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT/software Sales and a quota carrying role
  • Ability to work and travel in the UK and abroad
  • Current UK driving licence
  • Degree educated

 

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + commission

Location: Chippenham
