Mango Solutions is proud to support the Homa Bay Children's Home in Kenya.
Set up in 1965, the home strives to meet the basic needs of orphaned children through the provision of food, health care, shelter, clothing, educational and spiritual nourishment.
Homa Bay Children's Home has helped to save the lives of over 6,000 orphaned children and with the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa its services are needed now more than ever.
Mango's recent donation to Homa Bay Children's Home has paid for the provision of new educational facilities including a computer block for the children of Homa Bay.
UPDATE 29/09/2010:
Work had been delayed because of the rains which made it difficult to get the necessary materials transported. The building is now at the gable level and in few weeks time, they will be doing the roofing. They have also decided to put up both the rooms together to ensure a uniform look. They are doing good work and can look forward to a successful completion of this phase.
